US Central Command congratulates army for dismantling Hezbollah tunnel in south
The United State Central Command congratulated the Lebanese Army for finding a Hezbollah tunnel in south Lebanon.
CENTCOM shared Monday a statement by its commander, Adm. Brad Cooper, on the X platform, in which he said the Lebanese army has found a massive underground tunnel for the second time in the past two months.
"Dismantling tunnels nefariously used by non-state actors to store ammunition, missiles and attack drones promotes peace and stability in Lebanon and across the region," Cooper said.
"Job well done by the LAF and U.S.-led Mechanism team that is helping enforce commitments made by Israel and Lebanon," he added.
