Israeli general: We must prepare very strongly to move to ground maneuver
Israel’s Northern Command chief General Ori Gordin inspected an army exercise on Lebanon’s border on Tuesday and said troops there “must prepare very strongly to move to a ground maneuver.”
“We have entered a different phase in the battle. We must prepare very strongly to move to a ground maneuver,” he said.
Gordin “stressed the importance of readiness and preparedness to change the security situation and return the residents of the North to their homes,” the Israeli army said in a statement.
