Power Barges Production in Jeopardy

W460

Turkish power barges that cover the additional demand for electricity in Lebanon are threatened of halting production if they were not provided with sufficient fuel oil, LBCI TV station said on Sunday.

LBCI said the supply of Fatmagul alone has dropped from 200 megawatts (MW) to 70 MW on Sunday. While Orhan Bey will probably decrease its production to 70 MW as well.

Moreover, the two vessels are threatened to halt production Monday evening if they were not supplied with fuel oil, thus depriving the country of 400 MW of power, it added.

This is another reason why Lebanon should reach a peace agreement with Israel. She will thgen be able to receive electricty via thye Israeli National Grid without any need for fuel oil, Turkish power barges or anything else.

it's ok because the corrupt FPM minister of electricity apologized. So, all is fine now.
