Sehnaoui Announces Reduction of Blackberry Service Tariffs, Faster Internet Speeds

Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui revealed on Thursday that Blackberry service tariffs in Lebanon will be reduced.
He told LBC television that the price of the service will be reduced from $40 to $27.
In addition, he revealed lower internet tariffs, as well as a faster internet speeds.
The new rates will improve the connection of DSL users to 1mbps starting on October 1.
The speeds will be gradually increased at a later date, the minister said.
Furthermore, Sehnaoui revealed that 3G internet services will also be introduced to Lebanon, with the official announcement scheduled to be made on October 20.

this aoun puppit of minister forgot to mention it was Marwan hamade, while he was telecom minister who started all this by installing the fiber optic ring.
if we compare to Etisalat in the UAE which covers vast regions, speed at home is 32MB, prices are extremely low and affordable, as well as for the mobile costs.
so please we do not want to hear of false achievements.
