Telecommunications Minister Nicolas Sehnaoui revealed on Thursday that Blackberry service tariffs in Lebanon will be reduced.
He told LBC television that the price of the service will be reduced from $40 to $27.
In addition, he revealed lower internet tariffs, as well as a faster internet speeds.
The new rates will improve the connection of DSL users to 1mbps starting on October 1.
The speeds will be gradually increased at a later date, the minister said.
Furthermore, Sehnaoui revealed that 3G internet services will also be introduced to Lebanon, with the official announcement scheduled to be made on October 20.
