زيادة الضرائب من دون التصدي للهدر ستؤسس لـ"ثورة إجتماعية"

رأت مصادر سياسية أن الضرائب المرفوعة باسم سلسلة الرتب والرواتب تؤسس لثورة اجتماعية لاسيما أن "الطبقة السياسية تواصل زيادة الضرائب من دون وقف الهدر".
وقالت مصادر سياسية مطلعة لصحيفة "الجمهورية" الجمعة انّ "الضرائب المرفوعة باسم سلسلة الرتب والرواتب ستكون مصدراً جديداً، ليس لتمويل هذه السلسلة فحسب، إنما للهدر والفساد والتهرّب من دفع الضرائب، وزيادة التهريب في البلد، وستتسبّب بانكماش في القدرة الشرائية للناس وانكماش في السياحة".
ولفتت الى أنه "سبق للبعض أن حذّر من هذا الامر عندما قال: "ما سيُعطى للموظفين من خلال السلسلة بيَد، سيؤخذ منهم أكثر في يد أخرى".
ولاحظت هذه المصادر انّ "الطبقة السياسية تواصل زيادة الضرائب من دون التصدي للموضوع الأهم، ألا وهو وقف الهدر".
وأوضحت أن "تمويل السلسلة يكون بوقف الهدر في المطار والجمارك والشحن ووقف الصفقات والمشاريع الكبرى التي تنطوي على عمولات هائلة".
واعتبرت انّ "السلطة اليوم، من خلال هذا التصرّف، تؤسس لثورة اجتماعية تفلت من سيطرة ايّ من الاطراف، وحتى من الطوائف، لأنّ اللبناني يظلّ محافظاً على إيمانه وانتمائه طالما هو قادر، امّا عندما يدخل مرحلة التفقير فيبدأ بالكفر، وما يجري اليوم خطير جداً".
وتخوّفت المصدار عينها من "ان يكون الهدف ممّا يجري تحييد الأنظار عن الانتخابات النيابية ليس إلّا".

“Funding the wage scale can be done by stopping the waste of money in the airport, customs, shipping and by stopping bargains and projects that involve huge kickbacks.”
Fighting corruption according to this new administration means taxing almost anything and everything..... literally everything! From Stamp Duty to increasing taxes on interest on banking deposits, all the way to imposing exit and entry tax fee at the airport.

This evasion to pay taxes is what brought Greece to its knees financially. Look at Europe, where tax is an important part of the welfare system. People pay up to 30-40% in exchange for benefits. Yes its a hard transition for the lebanese, but everything has to start somewhere. Just like it did in the European countries.

Yo don't impose higher taxes when you can eliminate waste and fight corruption in order to finance increased salaries and government projects. In Europe and the civilized world, corruption is almost non-existent because they have systems in place and checks and balances. When they increase taxes, it is because it is the last resort and as you said they get benefits in return.

Kataeb are rights. What happenned to that money they made from the Puma aircraft?
Gemayel, Jumblat, Aoun, Hariri, Berri etc... If you voted for any of these thugs, you're part of the problem.

Probabably sami wasnt born or was a kid when the puma affair was done. Only one politician stood against the taxes and what do some lebanese do ? Instead of backing him, they want to shut him up coz of the puma affair. Why ? Well because they r not with him in politics. That s typically why l zo3ama rule and will continue to rule in lebanon

if those people called "politicians" were a bit clever they would rather LOWER the taxes to boost the economy! when people are encouraged to consume then the economy thrives and the gvt gets sustainable revenues...
let alone fight corruption, but here we can dream as they are ALL involved in the squandering....

we never read comments from those hezbi lovers when it comes to lebanese economic or social news... it shows how little they care about lebanese economy and welfare of people. all they comment are articles related to wars LOL
