ميقاتي: اجراءات الجيش بطرابلس تُنَفّذ "بلا تمييز ودون مسايرة لأي طرف"

شدد رئيس حكومة تصريف الاعمال نجيب ميقاتي على أن الجيش اللبناني يتخذ اجراءات في العاصمة الشمالية، طرابلس، "بلا تمييز بين منطقة وأُخرى، ودون مسايرة لهذا الطرف أو ذاك".
وفي حديث الى صحيفة "الجمهورية"، الاثنين، ذكّر ميقاتي أن الاجتماع الأمني الذي عُقِدَ في القصر الجمهوري في بعبدا، الاسبوع الفائت، اتخذ قراراً "سياسياً واضحاً وصريحاً بالتشدّد في كلّ ما يمكن القيام به لتوفير الأمن في طرابلس".
ولفت الى أن كل ما تقرر في هذا الاجتماع، قد دخل حيّز التنفيذ، مشيراً الى أن "الجيش يتّخذ الإجراءات المقررة تدريجاً وقدر المستطاع، وما يقوم به الجيش لا مسايرة فيه لهذا الطرف أو ذاك، وهو يتّخذ إجراءات بلا تمييز بين منطقة وأُخرى".
وأكد ان "جميع الطرابلسيين يريدون الأمن والإستقرار". وأعرب عن تفاؤله من أن "كل الخطوات التي سيتخذها الجيش ستعيد الأمن والإستقرار الى المدينة".
ويُشار الى أن وحدات من الجيش اللبناني بدأت، عصر الاحد، بتنفيذ انتشار في منطقة جبل محسن، بدءا بالنافورة مرورا بالمشارقة وصولا الى حي الاميركان.
الى ذلك، كشف ميقاتي عبر "الجمهورية" عن أنه على تواصل دائم مع مفوّض الحكومة لدى المحكمة العسكرية القاضي صقر صقر من أجل "إستعجال الخطوات القضائية والإسراع في التحقيقات الجارية مع الموقوفين في تفجيري مسجدي السلام والتقوى، في 23 آب الفائت، لإحالتهم الى القضاء المختص ولتأخذ العملية مجراها لتوضيح الأمور".
وأضاف "طالما أن ليس لدينا خيار سوى الدولة اللبنانية فما علينا إلّا أن نعمل لتعطيل المساعي الهادفة لجرّنا الى حيث لا نريد". وأردف "علينا أن نعمل لترجمة ولائنا للدولة ومؤسّساتها وقطع الطريق على الساعين الى الفتنة. فما يحصل ليس في مصلحة أحد ولا يمكن ان يوفر مصلحة لأحد على الإطلاق".
يُذكر أن تبادل اطلاق نار، وعمليات القنص بدأ في 21 الجاري، ويستمر بشكل متقطع، حيث تشتد المعارك ليلاً وتهدأ وتتقطع نهاراً، الامر الذي ادى الى سقوط قتلى مدنيين وجرحى من المدنيين ومن الجيش اللبناني.
وغالباً ما تندلع الاشتباكات وعمليات القنص بين جبل محسن، ذات الغالبية العلوية المؤيدة للنظام السوري، وباب التبانة، ذات الغالبية السنية المؤيدة لحركة الاحتجاج السورية، ما يؤدي الى سقوط قتلى وجرحى فضلاً عن الاضرار المادية.

Eid was correct at the time of his statement ... The Army has since deployed checkpoints in and around Bab al-Tabbaneh a source has told me.
We will see how sincere the efforts are by the success of these deployments and the time they are place.
These deployments need to last many weeks if not months to stop this on going violence in Tripoli ...

Aoun has since rejoined the Parliament ... but the boycott was never about the FPM.
The boycott and the Cabinet impasse was always the child of M14 and specifically al Mustaqbal as you know all too well.

That's correct my source informed me less than an hour ago ... Now I will try to keep pressure on to have the Army stay not for hours but for weeks.
That you can not see that it is M14 behind the boycott of Parliament and the failure to choose a Cabinet astounds me ...

How can two neighborhoods represent all of Lebanon? The few thugs in these neighborhoods fight because they have nothing better to do. They can't really think that their menial fights will spark a civil war in Lebanon or possibly change the outcome in Syria. At least, not anymore on the former. Lebanese politicians will soon have a new source of income that's sitting under the Mediterranean so Syrian and Gulf States will have to increase their allowances to plunge Lebanon back into a civil war.
