Hezbollah attacked Thursday two settlements in northern Israel in retaliation to what it called a "massacre" on the southern border town of Naqoura.

The group said it targeted the Shlomi and Goren settlements in response to the attacks on civilians and especially the Israeli strikes on Naqoura and Tayr Harfa that killed Hezbollah and Amal paramedics.

The British Embassy has delivered 60 tons of Land Rover spare parts and tyres to the Lebanese Army.

Hezbollah’s media relations department on Wednesday denied as “false and tendentious” the reports that said that Hezbollah fighters had tried to fire rockets at Israel from the southern border town of Rmeish.

Hezbollah fired a barrage of rockets into northern Israel Wednesday killing a civilian, after Israel carried out a deadly strike in south Lebanon.

Israeli rescue teams searching a building that had been hit in the border town of Kiryat Shmona "found a 25 year old who was unconscious, with no pulse and not breathing", and pronounced him dead at the scene, the Magen David Adom emergency service said.

Lebanon's National News Agency said fresh Israeli strikes on eastern Lebanon on Tuesday killed two people, after Hezbollah said it fired more than 50 rockets at the Golan Heights in response to an Israeli airstrike earlier in the day near the eastern city of Hermel.

The Israeli army said in two separate statements that it had struck Hezbollah targets "deep inside Lebanese territory."
