Mount Lebanon Attorney General Tanios al-Saghbeeni on Thursday filed charges against 12 suspects in the so-called TikTok child molestation case, the National News Agency said.

Those charged include five detainees, NNA added.

The opening ceremony of the third edition of the Middle East Clean Energy Exhibition and Conference took place on Wednesday afternoon, May 8th. Free Patriotic Movement chief Jebran Bassil has noted that “it’s not Hezbollah that will decide the end of the war in Lebanon and the south, but rather Israel and Hamas, which are negotiating.”

“Hezbollah considers that it is achieving something by assisting Gaza, but we do not agree to this,” Bassil added, in an interview on RT Arabic.

Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri has delivered Lebanon’s response to the French paper related to resolving the border conflict between Lebanon and Israel, Berri’s aide MP Ali Hassan Khalil has said.

Khalil said the response has been handed to the French embassy in Beirut.

The group said its drones targeted soldiers in the Yiftah barracks, inflicting casualties, while other drones hit an Iron Dome platform in the Ramot Naftali barracks, damaging it.

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea has stressed that his party’s stance on the issue of “illegal Syrian presence in Lebanon” is “a firm, principled and sovereign stance.”

“It does not change with a billion euros or tens of billions, nor with an international request or appeal, seeing as anyone who is illegal cannot continue to exist on Lebanese soil and this matter is not subject to discussion,” Geagea added.
