Hizbullah’s deputy Executive Council leader, Sheikh Nabil Qaouq, said Sunday that “luring international pressure on the Lebanese cabinet is more than a national sin.”

Report: Two Syrian Officials to Be Named in Hariri Murder Probe

Two Syrian officials are among the names included in new arrest warrants to be issued by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, the Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa reported Sunday.

It quoted sources close to the March 14-led opposition as saying that two Syrian officials will be accused of involvement in ex-Premier Rafik Hariri’s Feb. 2005 assassination.

Argentina Tells Iran to Hand over Bombing Suspects after Tehran’s Help Offer

The prosecutor investigating the worst terror strike on Argentine soil, the 1994 bombing of a Jewish charities building that killed 85 people, urged Iran Saturday to hand over any suspects in the case.

The comments came after an Iranian Foreign Ministry statement said earlier in the day that Tehran, suspected by Argentina of being behind the attack, is "ready for a constructive dialogue" in the case and to cooperate with the Argentine government.

Iran 'Ready to Cooperate' over Attack on Argentine Jews

Iran is ready to cooperate with Argentina over a 1994 bombing attack on a Jewish community centre in Buenos Aires that killed 85 people, the foreign ministry announced on Saturday.

Report: Syria Increases Arms Supply Rate to Hizbullah Providing it with Scud D Missiles

Syria has increased its rate of supplying Hizbullah with arms, including long-range missiles, which may lead to instability in the region, reported the British The Times newspaper on Friday.

It reported western and Middle Eastern intelligence sources as saying that the party was also provided with eight Scud D missiles that carry a range of 700 kilometers.

Maronite League Team Prevented from Surveying Patriarchate Lands in Lasa

A number of residents of the Byblos District town of Lasa on Thursday attacked a delegation from the Maronite League which was surveying lands owned by the Maronite Patriarchate in the town, Voice of Lebanon radio (100.5) reported.

Army troops intervened to end the attack on the delegation, which was accompanied by a Maronite priest and a number of the area’s residents, the radio station said.
