Sources close to President Michel Suleiman have stressed that Najib Miqati’s cabinet is a “consensual government” that allows the head of state, the premier and the leader of the National Struggle Front to push it towards centrism.
The sources told al-Mustaqbal daily in remarks published Tuesday that the cabinet is consensual and allows Suleiman, Miqati and Walid Jumblat “to put their centrist touches on it.”
“Consequently, it is not a March 8 government,” the Baabda palace sources said.
They told the newspaper that Miqati’s cabinet should receive parliament’s vote of confidence, saying however that it was too early to discuss about the international community’s judgment.
The world will make its stance based on what the policy statement would include, the sources added.
The U.S. said Monday it would judge the new government "by its actions.”

First - i prefer the US, UK and Europe over Iran any day. Have u travelled at all ya mowaten? no doubt though all of them though serve thier own interest, as does iran. just because we are against iran and its extreme theocratic religious regime doesnt makes us friends with Isreal. Iran is hell bent on driving millions of jews to the sea so why the hell shall we, a puny country with nothing going for us except our diverse people and good service, decide to go up against the entire world. Let them try to murder and exterminate whoever they want alone...our military role is to defend our borders and protect our country..

the good thing about the govmt iis that they unified the the two people of syria and lebanon in their fight against the regime in syria and his gvmt ln lebanon.
now the only allies of the regime in syria across the world are: teheran and beirut, and the fight of ahrar sourya is the same fight of ahrar loubnan.
n.b. the foreign affair minister in the hizb/bashar gvmt ,is the last "lebanese" ambassador to teheran.
