ArabNet Announces Developer Tournament Official Representatives Program
Since announcing the ArabNet Developer Tournament, it has been "delighted and overwhelmed by the great number of registrations and passionate constructive feedback received from many developers and interested community members," announced ArabNet on Tuesday.
“We feel that it is our turn now to give something back to those inspiring individuals,” it added.
“Today, we’re happy to unveil the ArabNet Developer Tournament: Official Representatives Program (OR Program),” it continued.
The program is our way of thanking each and every person who is contributing in building a healthy ecosystem that helps thriving developers in the open web and mobile development world, and to create a vibrant community of next-generation developers. But to do this, we need your help.
The first step is becoming an official representative for the tournament.
By becoming an OR you’ll help us reach out to extraordinary developers in your area to assist them join our community and participate in the ArabNet Developer Tournament.
Here’s how it works
You’ll arrange meetups to discuss code and development, organize Sprints and Hack Days in your city. We’ll help you in any way we can to become a recognized community coordinator in your city.
ArabNet is the hub for digital professionals and entrepreneurs to connect and learn.
Our activities are aimed at building the web industry and supporting entrepreneurship in the region.
They include an annual summit in Beirut, widely acknowledged as the largest digital gathering in the MENA region, with a track record of bringing globally-renowned speakers to discuss the latest topics in the field, as well as successfully connecting entrepreneurs and startups with funding and incubation through the Ideathon and Startup Demo competitions.
