Italy's Ferragamo to List in Milan
Luxury Italian fashion group Salvatore Ferregamo submitted a request to list its shares on the Italian stock exchange on Wednesday, according to a company statement.
Ferragamo "presented an admission request to the Italian stock exchange today to list its shares," and appointed Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanziario SpA and J.P. Morgan Chase and Co. as deal coordinators.
The number of shares to be listed will be announced by the company once the group's request has been accepted.
The Ferregamo group was founded in 1927 by Salvatore Ferragamo and produces shoes, clothes and leather accessories for numerous Hollywood stars.
In March, the group sold eight percent of the luxury clothing brand Salvatore Ferragamo to Hong Kong businessman Peter Woo and announced it would increase its interest in distribution companies based in the Greater China area.
