“I don’t want anyone to target Walid Jumblat ever,” Hariri has said, according to the Kuwaiti daily al-Anbaa.
“From February 14 till March 14, 2005, the man launched the March 14 (movement) … We should remain loyal to him,” Hariri reportedly said about the Druze leader.
About Hariri’s ties with Speaker Nabih Berri, the newspaper said that the caretaker premier believes relations are stagnant but he doesn’t want to cut his ties with the Amal movement leader for fears that such a move would affect the general situation in the country amid a regional turmoil.
