إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe Internal Security Forces have arrested a dentist in the Marjayoun town of Mais al-Jabal on suspicion of collaborating with Israel.
Media reports said 55-year-old Farouq Shouqeir was taken into custody on Thursday after the ISF received tips about his alleged collaboration.
The ISF said in a statement that the alleged spy admitted to investigators that he had collaborated with the Israelis since 2004.
Last week, a military court sentenced Amin Ibrahim al-Baba to death on charges of spying for Israel's Mossad and providing the agency with information on Hizbullah.
The verdict brings to six the number of men sentenced to death on spying charges since 2009, including one found guilty of aiding Israel during its devastating 2006 war with Hizbullah.
