Nasrallah, Franjieh Discuss Situation in Gaza, Iraq

Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah held talks on Saturday with Marada Movement leader MP Suleiman Franjieh, and both men discussed the situation in the country and the region.

Nasrallah and Franjieh gave special attention to the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip and underscored the “exodus of Christians and the killing of Muslims" in the Iraq's Mosul, a statement published on Marada's official website revealed.

More than 1,650 people have been killed and 9,000 others wounded in 25 days of Israeli assault on the Gaza Strip.

Although Hizbullah has so far distanced itself from the ongoing Gaza violence, Nasrallah announced last week that the party is ready to support Palestinians “with all available means” if necessary.

Meanwhile in Iraq, thousands of Christians and other minorities have fled the northern Iraqi city of Mosul and other areas after Islamic State insurgents led a sweep across Iraq's north and west last month.

The militants had ordered Christian families to convert to Islam or leave the city, prompting the mass exodus.

Those who failed to comply were threatened with execution, and the property of those who left was forfeited to the Islamic State.

Epic meeting between two greats; an illiterate and a known terrorist

Yes the meeting between Harrir and the King Abdulah or as you put them "an illiterate and a terrorist" did take place. Now witness how true patriots and leaders act but watching Franjeih and the Sayyed conduct themselves!

how about if they discuss electing a president instead of the situation in Gaza and Iraq!!

If they are willing to fight and die in Syria, why would the care if Lebanon has a president or not ( thank you general Aoun..). This is not a loss for the Christians. To look at it and describe it this way is only intended as a distraction. This truly a loss for Lebanon, which is their ultimate goal here.

Stop using Christians, stop using Palestinians, stop using Lebanon.

Sayeed Hassan should help Christians persecuted by terrorists in Iraq, along with the leader Sleiman. But Hezbollah party must not engage in the war of the Palestinians. This war is the political Zionists and the Palestinians has nothing with Lebanon. The people of Lebanon should refute any involvement in the war of the Palestinians.
