تقارير: اتصال بين عون وجعجع لبحث الملف الانتخابي

Read this story in English W460

I agree with you 100% Mr. phoenix

to my friend the1phoenix,

Saying that Dr.Geagea is zghir is like saying Cheikh Bachir is ktir zghir.
And saying that Dr.Geagea is ktir kbir is like saying Cheikh Bachis is kbir.

Any mistake Dr.Geagea did, Cheikh Bachir did a thousand times worse.
Any good thing Cheikh Bachir did, Dr.Geagea did it a thousand times more.

Here is not the right place to make you a recap of the Lebanese Forces and each one of its leaders resume, hopefully one day we meet in real life and we talk for many hours bro.

Other than this, Happy Easter to all my brothers from the Orthodox sect.

@the1phoenix, ive been reading your posts for a while now, we do share common ground ( Bachir's education) maybe not directly like you because i might be much younger, but my father was in the BG squad during the war. It is not because of him that i dont like Geagea or Aoun. Unlike many clowns here and there, i follow what seems to me like reason. The only one that is trying ton confront all these crooks is Sami Gemayel. But unfortunately he is controlled by his father, they differ politically, but he is in danger and his father is trying to please everyone in any way possible to not kill his last son. He has asked him to go open up with their ennemies, which he is doing. It is a good thing because we are all lebanese brothers muslims and christian

@the1phoenix, i always see reason in your posts( maybe for me only i dont know). I just find it sad that you are trying so hard to stick to what Bachir has taught many, and what next generations have always dreamed of seeing, when the country is doomed. You are trying too hard my friend, it is not a country for lebanese anymore. They do not rule it, do not respect it, do not care for it. 75% of lebanese in Lebanon are thugs, liars, thieves, superficial disgusting creatures. The time of bachir has passed ya phoenix, and Bachir had more than 30.000 militiamen , a cause, and he was BACHIR... the only way lebanon will ever be free is a deep economic crisis in the country, people need to feel hunger and become revolutionnaries. As long as they are still paying 1000$/person on new year's eve and every restaurant is full, even in summer, which i dont understand since they all say there's no work or anything, Lebanon will never rise..

@the1phoenix. I agree too with your post. Our Christian people in Lebanon are split politically because of these two men and their disputes that go back 25 years. Many are with Aoun not so much because of their fear of rising Sunni salafism, but hatred of Geagea over the manner in which the LF ran Sharieih during the 1980's. Many in the LF camp cannot tolerate Aoun. Take these two, Aoun and Geagea out of the leadership picture and the Christian political parties could coalesce around its common principles and cause potential coalition partners in the Sunni, Shiite and Druze camps come to them, on Christian political grounds and form a viable credible political alliance.

But separated, the Aounists are weak sisters in the M8 and the LF/Kataeb are weak sisters in the M14 with Sunni policies driving m14 and Hezbollah driving m8. Do you not think that this was the Syrian strategy in agreeing to the return of Aoun from exile in Paris on May 5, 2005 when they negotiated with Aoun's people to drop the prosecution against Aoun in exchange for his return? The Syrians knew that the enmity between Aoun and Geagea and their supporters would divide and weaken the Lebanese Christians, and thus allow the Allawi a path to continued influence in Lebanon even after the departure of the Syrian Occupation Army. Ironically, the political cover once provided Hezbollah in Lebanon by the Syrian Occupation Army was passed off to Michel Aoun and the FPM. Maybe this was part of the quid pro quo of Aoun's return as well.

But sometimes I strongly disagree and feel you guys shame yourselves.

2. With all respect and no disrespect to both of you...
The Christian problems started before Hakim and GMA...
1957 witnessed a bloody massacre by an individual who eventually became President (Guess who)..

3.Many of the Phalange decisions early on divided Christians with pure greed and power.. Not discounting the primary aim was for the good... But certain individuals infiltrated as double agents and divided the Christians (Guess who) HK.. remember him???

5. LF made mistakes in the chouf and other areas... but forecasted what Lebanon was being dealt with (trade off between Arabs and West) allowing Syria to have its way... But please HAKIM stayed strong, true to the Identity of the Christians (hand in hand with the Batrak)...
He accepted punishment, apologised, humbled and did not benefit $$ of from any foreign power... No one can deny this.

7. Dory Chamoun has accepted too much crap and never is he selfish to his needs.. he's true to his party (although weakened) and to Lebanon's benefit of the M14. I respect Dory Chamoun (waste and shame he is in governance) and praise, respect and believe in Hakims intentions and the fight for identity of the Lebanon through way of Phalange and LF.
Only brain washed idiots see beyond this.

If and when Aoun and Geagea start bridging their differences and reconcile, what would or should flow from such turn of events? Should we say f... Aoun, f... Geagea, he did this, the other is guilty of that, etc.? Remind them and ourselves how they divided us and bring back old negative memories? Or take such an opportunity, when it happens, and see them as no longer being relevant to Christian representation. Therefore, outdated and replaced?

Missing maroun 04:17 ,2013 أيار 05

the1phoenix..there is only one way out and that is for our president to form his own political party .that is the only way we can unite the Christian vote in Lebanon.Aoun and Geagea don't have any thing in common to unite as soon as they start talking who will the next president ,they will disagree..as a strong and united Christian's we can control Lebanon's destiny for the better.

@freespirit. It is not the intrinsic merits or faults of these two men upon which parity or comparison is made. Rather it is the perception of demonization that the Aounists have created of Geagea, and the perceptions of demonization that the LF has of Aoun that makes the two comparable. In their cases, the perceptions have outrun the reality and are more relevant than the intrinsic realities of either man.
