المعارضة السورية تتهم النظام بتدمير مئذنة الجامع العمري في درعا

اتهمت المعارضة السورية الاحد نظام الرئيس بشار الاسد بتدمير مئذنة الجامع العمري في مدينة درعا في جنوب البلاد، والذي يتمتع بقيمة دينية واثرية، وخرجت منه قبل عامين اولى التظاهرات المطالبة برحيل النظام.
وعرض ناشطون معارضون على شبكة الانترنت اشرطة مصورة تظهر تعرض مئذنة الجامع الاثري الواقع في المدينة القديمة بدرعا (والمعروفة بدرعا البلد) للقصف قبل ان تهوي وتتحطم باستثناء قاعدتها.
وقال المجلس الوطني السوري، وهو احد ابرز مكونات الائتلاف الوطني لقوى الثورة والمعارضة، "بالدبابات قصف نظام الهمجية المنفلتة مئذنة الجامع العمري، ليصيب مكانا حافلا بالرموز الحضارية والروحية والإنسانية".
اضاف "إنه الجامع الذي بناه الخليفة العادل عمر بن الخطاب، ومئذنته التي هدمها جنود الطاغية هي أول مئذنة تبنى في بلاد الشام قاطبة". واشار الى انه "أول مكان احتضن الثورة السورية وهي في مهدها، من ابوابه خرجت الموجة الأولى من مظاهرات العزة والكرامة، وعلى جدرانه سقط أول الشهداء، وعلى بساطه عولج أول الجرحى".
واعتبر المجلس ان هذه "الجريمة النكراء" تزيد لدى السوريين "العزم على الخلاص من نظام لا يمت إلى الحضارة والإنسانية بصلة"، داعيا "كل عربي ومسلم وكل من ينتمي إلى الحضارة الإنسانية" الى مواجهتها "بالغضب والاستنكار الشديد والادانة الصادقة".
وشكلت درعا مهد الاحتجاجات المعارضة للنظام السوري التي اندلعت منتصف آذار 2011، وفيها خرجت اولى التظاهرات السلمية التي كانت ابرزها تنطلق من المساجد بعد صلاة الجمعة واستخدم النظام القمع في مواجهتها.
واعتبرت لجان التنسيق المحلية ان "هذا العمل الهمجي (...) يضيف جريمة جديدة لقائمة جرائم الاسد (...) الذي لم يدمر احجارا فقط، انما دمر تراثا دينيا وتاريخيا يعتز به الشعب السوري".
واشارت الى ان المسجد "قيمة دينية في حد ذاته، وهو رمز سياسي بالغ الاهمية لحركة الثورة السورية كلها، فعلى منبره القى شيخ الثوار احمد الصياصنة اول كلمات الثورة ومن رحابه انطلقت اول تظاهرات الكرامة والغضب".
واعتبرت ان "بشار الاسد وفريقه الاجرامي، باتوا يشكلون خطرا جديا لكل الوجود الحضاري والانساني على الارض السورية، ومن حق السوريين الدفاع وبكل الوسائل الممكنة، عن هذا الوجود وجميع ما ينبع عنه من مفاهيم عميقة وقيم كبرى".
واظهرت اشرطة فيديو بثت على موقع "يوتيوب"، تعرض المئذنة لقصف متكرر خلال الايام الماضية.
وتبدو المئذنة وهي تهوي قبل ان يتصاعد من ركامها غبار كثيف، في حين تعالت صيحات رجال لا يظهرون في الشريط، وهم يهتفون "الله اكبر، الله اكبر".
ويسمع المصور وهو يقول "قوات الاسد تقوم بهدم مئذنة الجامع العمري". يضيف "عمر بن الخطاب بنى هذا المسجد رضي الله عنه، وبشار الاسد لعنه الله هدمه".
ويعود تاريخ بناء المسجد الى القرن السابع ميلادي في عهد الخليفة عمر بن الخطاب وبايعاز منه. كما خضع مرارا لعمليات ترميم.

Exactly. But also don't forget that the fsa is made up of the same soldiers that ruled us with a sarmayi. Both sides are a threat to us, so honestly, I don't mind Assad leaving the new rulers of Syria with a weaker country than before. Maybe we'll get to have a few good years in Lebanon.

no place of worship should ever be touched by anyone on gods earth. a church,synagogue a mosque even places of worship we dont approve of. Buddhists and hindu temples. Sad this mosque went down because it has a lot of history to it and wont be on the world heritage sites. When will the fighting on planet earth ever end. OUF

josh is correct assad protects minorities as did saddam in iraq. i suggest organizing a séance to resurrect saddam and prop him up back in charge of iraq. as long as he protects the minorities he can gas as many shiites as he fancies, it will probably improve their odor.
josh forgot that assad sr wiped hama off the map in 1982 minaret and all, he was taking a breather from bombing the christians of lebanon. ironically a few month later he ran away from the isralis in lebanon but don't blame him unlike the civilians of lebanon and hama the israelis were armed and he does not fight armed people..
