The only way this would make any sense is if Turkey-Nato establish safe zones then the Arab troops are called in as a protection force as was the case in Bosnia. having said that, I do not believe for one minute that the Arab forces would have the know-how or expertise for such a mission and therefore the whole thing would become a serious mess. Safe zones would be enough to topple this aching regime as that would strongly encourage mass defections. No need for troops on the ground, just tactical support from the air. Bashar is such an idiot, he is forcing the libyan model on the world only at a much slower pace, nevertheless, he will have a similar ending, might take a year.
