الراعي تفاجأ من "عدم حماسة" دمشق تجاه وصول فرنجية الى الرئاسة

تفاجأ البطريرك الماروني مار بشارة بطرس الراعي اللذي قام بزيارة قصيرة الى طرطوس من وجود تحفظ سوري على اسم النائب سليمان فرنجية الذي تطرحه المبادرة الرئاسية كمرشح للرئاسة.
وكشفت صحيفة "الجمهورية" الاثنين أن "الراعي تفاجَأ أثناء تواجُده في اللاذقيّة، ومن خلال الأجواء التي استشفّها، من وجود تحفّظ سوري على اسم المرشّح فرنجيّة، وعدم حماسة لوصوله إلى رئاسة الجمهوريّة".
وذكرت الصحيفة ان "سوريا كانت أبلغَت عدداً مِن حلفائها في لبنان أنّ ملفّ الرئاسة عند الأمين العام لحزب الله السيّد حسن نصرالله وهو من يقرّر فيه، ما يزيد العقبات أمام انتخاب فرنجيّة.
ولا يزال موقف حزب الله غير واضح من ترشيح فرنجية. وتؤكد عدة تقارير أن الحزب لا يزال يتمسك بدعم رئيس تكتل "التغيير والاصلاح" النائب ميشال عون للرئاسة.
وأمس الاثنبن كشف الراعي لقناة الـ LBCI أنه دعا الاقطاب الموارنة الاربعة الى اجتماع في بكركي وانه لا يزال في انتظار الجواب.
ولفتت مصادر وزارية الى أن انعقاد لقاء يضم الأقطاب الموارنة في بكركي بناء على رغبة البطريرك الراعي مرتبط بتحضير اتفاق هؤلاء الاقطاب على بديل من النائب فرنجيه فيما لو تقرر الذهاب الى تبني مرشح آخر، وإذا ما اتفق هؤلاء الاقطاب على بديل يلتزمونه حتى النهاية.

-- Lol this is what's wrong with Lebanese politics. The pope was on a pastoral visit, which is a religious function, and he still found a way to talk politics.

"The Lebanese Presidential Filed is in the hand of Hezbollah". So says the Syrians to the Maronite Patriarch. For those who thought it was in KSA or Iran or Washington this must come as a shock.
For those of us who think it should be in the hand of the Lebanese people, it is ironic.

General Rakouz fought Syria, fought the islamist in Lebanon and headed the Lebanese commandos!
I still believe a military coup is needed to cleanse this nation of our political, sectarian disease!

Yes Khawajie is also a very good option! General Rakouz is supported by Aoun coz he is his son in law and is respected by all Lebanese parties and most importantly his men... but Khawajie is also an excellent candidate but has just extended his term as commander due to the volatile situation, while Rakouz is now retired.
