الطيران التركي يقصف مواقع لحزب العمال الكردستاني في العراق

شن الطيران الحربي التركي ليل الاثنين الثلاثاء عملية واسعة النطاق ضد القواعد الرئيسية لمتمردي حزب العمال الكردستاني في شمال العراق ردا على هجوم اسفر عن مقتل 16 جنديا تركيا، على ما افادت وكالة الاناضول الموالية للحكومة.
وقامت اكثر من خمسين مقاتلة تركية بشن عمليات قصف كثيفة على مدى ست ساعات على عشرين هدفا لحزب العمال الكردستاني ما اسفر عن مقتل "ما بين 35 و40 ارهابيا" بحسب الوكالة.
واوردت الاناضول ان قواعد قنديل وهاكورك وزاب وميتينا وغارا وباسيان تعرضت لقصف مركز.
كما استهدفت المقاتلات التركية "مجموعة من 20 الى 25 ارهابيا كانوا يفرون من تركيا وينكفئون الى قواعدهم".
وجرت العملية اثر هجوم دام الاحد اسفر عن مقتل 16 عسكريا في داليدجا في اقصى جنوب شرق تركيا على الحدود مع العراق.
وتوعدت الحكومة التركية الاثنين غداة الهجوم على قواتها العسكرية ب"القضاء على الارهابيين".
وكان الهجوم في داليدجا اعنف عملية ينفذها المتمردون الاكراد منذ استئناف المواجهات بين الجيش وحزب العمال الكردستاني في نهاية تموز ما اسقط مفاوضات السلام التي بدأت في خريف 2012 لوضع حد لنزاع اوقع حوالى اربعين الف قتيل منذ 1984.

correction : ISIS planted explosives in a Kurdish gathering near the borders. Kurds retaliated and started killing Turkish soldiers instead. Turkey retaliated and bombed Kurdish positions.

indeed. and furthermore, this is the price the Kurds pay for thinking they would "do better on their own", thinking that israel's encouragements and US support to split from iraq was worth something. they are now on their own, attacked by both ISIS and their NATO sponsor, while the western world watches and laughs.
This should serve as a warning to some idiots in lebanon who think they'd be better off on their own too with some theoretical western support/protection.

America can never be a friend, Turkey is Americas friend too and they have more influence in the region than the Kurds.
The yanks just decided to ditch the Kurds in favor of their Ottoman allies.
I did not like that the Kurds were so close to the Americans and NATO before in Syria and Iraq, this punishment will probaly make them seek better alliances.
Kurds are also too split up as a matter of fact, many of them supports Erdogan against their own people.
