"المستقبل" و"الكتائب" تشددان على تأييدهما جعجع للانتخابات الرئاسية

أكدت قوى 14 آذار ان لها مرشح "التزمته"، وذلك في ظل إعلان كتلتي "الكتائب" و"المستقبل" تأييدها رئيس حزب "القوات اللبنانية" سمير جعجع للانتخابات الرئاسية.
وأشارت صحيفة "الجمهورية"، السبت، الى أن موفد رئيس تيار "المستقبل" سعد الحريري، النائب السابق غطاس خوري زار الجمعة كلّاً من رئيس حزب الكتائب أمين الجميّل ورئيس حزب "القوات اللبنانية»"الذي أدرج مكتبُه الإعلامي الزيارة "في إطار التشاور الدائم والمستمرّ حول الإستحقاق الرئاسي.
وشددت مصادر مطلعة في حديث لصحيفة "النهار"، السبت، على ان "المستقبل" يعمل المستحيل كي ينجز الاستحقاق الرئاسي ضمن المهلة الدستورية كما ان قوى 14 آذار لها مرشح التزمته، والمطلوب الآن من القوى الاخرى ان تعلن مرشحها.
وقالت مصادر في قوى 14 آذار لـ"النهار" ان جعجع مستمر الخيار الوحيد لهذه القوى ولا ينتظر حصول اي تطور قبل جلسة الاربعاء.
من جهته، لفت وزير العمل سجعان قزّي لـ"الجمهورية"، السبت، الى أن "حزب الكتائب لا يزال يؤيّد جعجع للانتخابات الرئاسية، على رغم أنّ ترشيح الرئيس الجميّل قائم، ولا يجوز تغيير الموقف الآن تحت ضغط فريق 8 آذار".
وفشل النواب، الأربعاء، في انتخاب رئيس جديد للجمهورية في الدورة الاولى للجلسة الانتخابية، حيث المعركة تركزت بين مرشح 14 آذار، رئيس "حزب القوات اللبنانية" سمير جعجع، وحلو، و"الورقة البيضاء".
ومع فرز أصوات النواب الـ124 الذين حضروا الجلسة الانتخابية، فازت "الورقة البيضاء" بـ52 صوتاً، مقابل 48 لجعجع و16 لحلو وصوت واحد لرئيس "حزب الكتائب" أمين الجميل. في حين تم الغاء 7 أصوات.
وقد عيّن بري موعداً للدورة الثانية للجلسة الانتخابية، يوم الاربعاء المقبل عند الساعة 12 ظهراً، مؤكدا ان للنصاب الدائم لانتخاب الرئيس هو دائما 86 نائبا.

Lets get something straight, Aoun who at the time was the General of the Army, the generals responsibility is to protect the country and its people. Especially when there is no leadership as per the constitution during a war. That being said I'm all for out with the old and in with the new. Dabstract, sorry to disagree a little here with you. True, there was a time when Aoun was general of the army, but when Gemayel vacated the presidency, Aoun was mandated as interim PM to oversee the governance of the country. What he did thereafter had nothing to do with his mandate, Aoun simply overstepped every limit of his authority. The seat, then, and now, that's all that Aoun wants. But as far as the rest of you post is concerned, yes, I am with you 100%.

So far the only one with a good plan for the country. second round should exclude aoun as he said he will not compete against geagea and wants to be guarantees consensus before putting up his hand. leaving again helou and geagea, helou however is not whole heartedly in the race as he has said his preference was not to run as he felt this president will be a vacuum. Leaving geagea as the only one willing to takle the real issues. If jumblot and co cannot agree to support geagea then no one wins and we do it again.. Hopefully they either support geagea in his bid, or all agree on a worthy consensual nominee that has sufficient character to tackle the real issues, otherwise it's the same old result regardless of who gets in..
