The 35-year-old Cavani had been without a club since his contract with Manchester United expired at the end of last season.

Argentina defender Cristian Romero has signed a permanent contract to remain with Tottenham until 2027, the English Premier League club said on Tuesday.

Bernardo Silva will be staying at Manchester City, manager Pep Guardiola said Friday, seemingly bringing to an end a summer of uncertainty over the Portugal midfielder's future.

More than 91,000 fans were at the Camp Nou for the match, with the proceeds going to help raise funds for research against ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's disease, an incurable neurodegenerative disorder.
