Syrian opposition leaders are to address an annual summit of the Arab League for the first time in Qatar on Tuesday, but the bloc's members remain divided over whether to give them Damascus's vacant seat.

5-Organ Transplant Patient Gives Birth: Baby Girl

A woman who was given a new liver, pancreas, stomach and small and large intestine at a Miami hospital in 2007 has delivered a healthy baby girl, believed to be the first known case of a five-organ transplant patient giving birth.

Fatema Al Ansari, 26, said Wednesday she was overjoyed after giving birth by cesarean section Feb. 26. She held the sleeping child at a gathering with reporters Wednesday at the same hospital, Jackson Memorial, where she had transplant surgery in 2007.

Prince Charles, Camilla Visit Syria Refugees in Jordan

Britain's Prince Charles and his wife Camilla on Wednesday visited a camp for Syrian refugees in northern Jordan as part of a trip to the Middle East, an official said.

The royal couple toured the United Nations-run King Abdullah Park refugee camp near the border with Syria that hosts about 1,000 Syrians who have fled the war in their country, said the Jordanian government official.

Qatar Discovers New Reserves of Natural Gas

Key gas exporter Qatar has discovered additional reserves of 2.5 trillion cubic feet (68 billion cubic meters) of natural gas in a northern offshore field, media reported on Monday.

The discovery was made in Block 4 North, in North Field at a water depth of around 70 meters (230 feet), newspapers said.
