Harrison Ford 'Battered but OK' after LA Plane Crash

Hollywood star Harrison Ford was injured Thursday when the small plane he was flying suffered engine failure and crash-landed on a golf course outside Los Angeles, officials said.

The 72-year-old "Indiana Jones" and "Star Wars" actor suffered multiple gashes to his head and was left bleeding after the crash of the vintage two-seater plane, according to the TMZ celebrity website.

Austrian Bearded Drag Queen Conchita to Release Debut Album

Austria's bearded drag queen sensation Conchita Wurst, winner of last year's Eurovision Song Contest, said Thursday that her debut album would be released on May 13.

"Conchita" the album contains 14 tracks but will not feature "Rise Like a Phoenix", the rousing James Bond-like song that won Wurst -- real name Tom Neuwirth, 26 -- Eurovision in Copenhagen last May.

DiCaprio Partners with Netflix for Series of Documentaries

Leonardo DiCaprio is partnering with Netflix for a series of documentaries he will produce for the streaming service.

Netflix announced Wednesday that DiCaprio and his production company, Appian Way, have signed a first-look deal with Netflix for nonfiction projects. The company says DiCaprio and Netflix will seek to develop and acquire documentaries and docuseries "with partial focus on environmental and conservation themes."

The Middle East's first three-dimensional pavement art festival, starring works by international artists that appear to rise from the ground, kicked off this week in Dubai, its organisers said.

The Dubai Canvas Festival features 3-D artworks in chalk or paint, many of them depicting eye-catching images of the Emirati city.

Man Charged in Deadly Stabbing of Nicki Minaj Crew Member

A Philadelphia man already facing an attempted murder charge in the stabbings of two members of Nicki Minaj's tour has been charged with murder.

Homicide Capt. James Clark says 31-year-old Pierce Boykin was charged Tuesday with murder in the stabbing death of 29-year-old Devon Pickett. The double stabbing outside a bar last month left Pickett dead and a second member of Minaj's tour severely wounded. Minaj says the crew members had arrived in Philadelphia to rehearse for a tour.

Hilton Brother Conrad Agrees to Plead to Assault on Flight

Paris Hilton's youngest brother, Conrad, agreed to plead guilty to assaulting flight attendants on a trip from London to Los Angeles last year during which authorities say he called other passengers "peasants" and threatened to kill crew members.

Hilton, 20, signed the agreement Tuesday and is set to appear in court Thursday, but will officially plead guilty to the misdemeanor later, said the U.S. attorney's office in Los Angeles.
