Just a few years ago it was on the brink of extinction. Now, haute couture — the 150-year-old Parisian tradition of making unique, astronomically-priced handmade gowns — is back.

The fall-winter 2014/15 collections started with brio Sunday with the Atelier Versace show, graced by Jennifer Lopez. The calendar has expanded to five days from three this season to make room for 12 major houses as well as a whole swath of up-and-coming names. Additions in recent seasons include the return of big-hitters Donatella Versace, Giorgio Armani and Maison Schiaparelli.

Harrison Ford's injury will cause production on "Star Wars: Episode VII" to be suspended for two weeks.

Disney announced Sunday that shooting would be halted for two weeks in August to adjust the production schedule following Ford's injury. The 71-year-old actor broke his leg in June during filming of the much-anticipated sequel at Pinewood Studios outside of London.

The two opening shows of France's prestigious Avignon Festival -- one of the world's biggest theater showcases -- were cancelled hours before curtain up on Friday after strike action by actors and technicians.

The festival, which last year attracted 128,000 theater-goers to the southern French city, has been under threat from a long-running dispute over planned government changes to the status of "intermittents" -- artists and cultural workers who benefit from a more generous unemployment system than other workers.

The judge leading an Australian inquiry into institutional child abuse said Saturday that the conviction of disgraced entertainer Rolf Harris for sexual assault would encourage more victims to come forward.

Australian-born Harris, 84, once one of the country's best-loved personalities, was jailed Friday in London for five years and nine months for a string of attacks on girls.

Josh Groban admits he was hesitant to show that he was more than a guy with a big voice who could perform sweeping ballads.

"For so much of my career I think I was a little bit protective of the brand or the image of the voice," he said in a recent interview. "And that's half of me. But I think I've been less afraid to let my freak flag fly a little bit — it has waved gloriously in the wind — and it's been fun."

Ben Savage says that when production wrapped on "Boy Meets World" in 2000 after seven seasons, he and his young co-stars were ready to expand their own worlds.

"I think at that point all the kids on the show were kind of looking forward to the next step in their lives," the 33-year-old actor said. "'Boy Meets World' was really our childhood, and so when it ended, the cast was ready to say, 'OK, let's see what's next.'"

Hundreds of former Libyan rebels gathered in Sarajevo on Thursday to see the world premiere of a documentary dedicated to their 2011 fight against Moammar Gadhafi's regime.

The four-hour documentary "Tomorrow, Tripoli" by French director Florent Marcie depicts the everyday experiences of fighters in Zintan, the West Libyan hill town that was among the first to fall into rebel hands after an armed uprising broke out against Gadhafi in February 2011.
