Henry Hill, the ex-mobster played by Ray Liotta in the classic Martin Scorsese movie "Goodfellas," has died at age 69 -- and the actor described the former mafioso as "complicated" Wednesday.

Hill died on Tuesday in a Los Angeles hospital following a long battle with an undisclosed illness, his girlfriend Lisa told the TMZ celebrity news website.

Veteran U.S. comedy actor Jerry Lewis is spending a couple of nights in hospital in New York after feeling faint, but is doing "fine" and is expected to be released Thursday, aides said.
