Barber, Customer Exchange Blows in Kuwait … over al-Asir!

Lebanese disputes have moved to a barber shop in Kuwait, where a heated debate over the latest Sidon clash erupted into a fistfight.

A Syrian customer voiced rejection of the Lebanese army's assault on Islamist cleric Sheikh Ahmed al-Asir and his armed group, as the Lebanese barber backed the operation.

According to al-Shahed newspaper, the fierce discussions between the two went out of control, with the customer fuming and accusing the barber of sectarianism.

“I don't want you to cut my hair, I want someone else to do it,” the customer shouted.

When the barber tried to convince him to allow him to continue the haircut, the customer erupted in anger, slapping the barber's face with a towel.

The spat ended up with the intervention of the police after the two foes exchanged kicks, blows and slaps.

They were then arrested and taken to a police station.
