One Person Accidentally Killed in Bab al-Tabbaneh
One person was accidentally killed on Friday in the Bab al-Tabbaneh neighborhood in the northern city of Tripoli, reported the National News Agency.
It said that Amer al-Samadi was accidentally critically wounded during an individual dispute that broke out in the city.
The dispute led to an armed clash that resulted in his injury.
He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
Members of his family reacted to the death by firing gunshots that damaged an Internal Security Forces vehicle.
Tripoli had ended two weeks ago the 17th round of clashes between the rival Bab al-Tabbaneh and Jabal Mohsen neighborhoods.
The clashes had erupted over the unrest in Syria, with Jabal Mohsen supporting the Syrian regime and Bab al-Tabbaneh backing the rebels.
