Lebanon is unlikely to be targeted in retaliatory attacks over al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden’s killing, said circles close to the March 8 camp.
They told the Kuwaiti al-Rai newspaper that even the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon may not be targeted.
They added however that all precautionary measures have been taken for a possible attack.
“Despite Lebanon’s ongoing political crisis in light of the governmental vacuum, it appears that a decision has been taken to maintain the minimum amount of stability in the country,” they noted.
