Head of Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohammed Raad said on Sunday that Hizbullah hopes dialogue will lead to “a methodology that guides Lebanese towards the state principle”, pointing out that rational solutions are “necessary to preserve the security of the North.”
During a memorial ceremony in the southern town of Kafra, Raad said that “dialogue is a permanent necessity because it fortifies Lebanon, and contributes to finding appropriate solutions to the crises that beset our country.”
He voiced his belief that “the security chaos in the North threatens security and stability in the entire country,” urging to find calm solutions through dialogue “to preserve security in the north and provide the appropriate environment for the army to practice its duties in maintaining security and stability.”
“We hope that the rest of the Lebanese groups would be positive in their participation in the national dialogue, and to give up some of their prejudgments which they seek to impose on others,” Raad added.
Hizbullah MP considered that the country can no longer tolerate the absence of the state, which causes “street chaos and internal conflicts.”
