Israel practicing 'gradual escalation' to seize Ali al-Taher
What is happening in south Lebanon is dangerous and no one can stop the advance of the Israeli military machine, a Lebanese official said.
In remarks to the Nidaa al-Watan newspaper, the unnamed official described the situation as falling within the framework of a "gradual escalation," where Israel “has made the major decision to capture the Ali Taher hill and is deliberately encroaching on its surroundings, while military operations have continued unabated for 24 hours.”
The official added: "We are facing a dangerous phase, and no one knows where things will lead, especially after Hezbollah's negative response and its refusal to hand over the tunnels to the Lebanese Army."
