At least twenty people were killed in Israeli strikes on south Lebanon and Beirut's southern suburbs on Monday.
Sixteen people were killed and 40 wounded in strikes on Tayrdebba and Jwayya in south Lebanon, the health ministry said, while Israeli airstrikes on al-Qard al-Hassan branches in Dahieh killed one person and wounded 12 others.
The health ministry had earlier said the strikes on sites belonging to the Hezbollah-linked Islamic Health Committee in Tayrdebba and Jwayya killed two paramedics and wounded six, accusing Israel of "systematic targeting of rescue teams".
Two people were killed in an Israeli strike on their car on the Bint Jbeil - Aitaroun road, and a priest was killed in a strike on the predominantly Maronite Christian village of Qlayaa in the Marjayoun District.
The Israeli army had said it targeted Hezbollah fighters in a Christian village in south Lebanon.
