Real Madrid Legend Di Stefano Dies Aged 88
Real Madrid legend Alfredo di Stefano, one of the greatest footballers in history, died in a Madrid hospital on Monday aged 88, the Spanish football federation said.
"Alfredo Di Stefano has passed away this Monday," said the Royal Spanish Football Federation in a statement.
Di Stefano had been in a coma since suffering a heart attack on Saturday.
