Former Prime Minister Najib Miqati said he urged President Michel Suleiman to bring back Lebanese leaders together at national dialogue sessions.
The sessions were in addition to discussing the defense strategy aimed at keeping contact between officials during crises, Miqati told As Safir newspaper.
The ex-prime minister said the March 8 forces should differentiate between the cabinet and the all-party talks. The national dialogue should not be shoved into political issues that are the government’s specialty.
“Dialogue sessions should not be crippled no matter what,” Miqati said.
