Israeli soldiers shot dead a Palestinian on a road near the West Bank administrative center of Ramallah on Monday, Israeli security sources said.
The Palestinian was part of a group throwing stones at Israeli troops, who opened fire near the Ofra settlement, fatally wounding him, they said.
The body was evacuated to a hospital in Ramallah, according to Palestinian medical sources, who said the individual did not have identifying documents on him.
Hours earlier, a Palestinian-Jordanian judge was shot dead by Israeli troops at a border crossing with Jordan. The Israeli military said troops opened fire after he tried to grab a soldier's gun.
Both Amman and the Palestinian Authority strongly condemned the incident at the Allenby Bridge crossing between the Israeli-occupied West Bank and Jordan.
Last month, an Amnesty International report documented the killing of 45 Palestinians and the wounding of thousands more who "did not appear to be posing a direct and immediate threat to life."
The report accused Israel of showing a "callous disregard for human life."
Israel responded by saying the London-based rights group did not take into account the increasing number of attacks on its forces in the past year or seek comment until the eve of publication.
