Four people were wounded on Friday evening in an individual armed clash in Beirut's Aisha Bakkar neighborhood, the state-run National News Agency reported.
The NNA said the wounded men were transferred to Al-Maqassed Hospital for treatment.
LBCI television had said the clash started when an unknown assailant fired gunshots towards a group of men near the Aisha Bakkar mosque, causing several injuries.
Meanwhile, al-Jadeed television said one man was killed in a dispute between “Kurds and another group of men in the neighborhood.”
"An army soldier was also injured in the clashes," the same source added.
"Security forces are chasing the shooter that fled to an unknown destination," the NNA said.
